LET'S BUILD IT!

This project was featured on Global News Toronto and won the "PEARL Staff Designer's Choice Award" during the Sheridan "Sprint Week" game jam out of seventeen teams. It is currently being used in the Holland Bloorview waiting room.

My role in the project was mainly a game designer role, and I did some animation as well.

Groups were given from Monday morning until Thursday Evening to build a fully functional game based around a specific peripheral. The interaction with the game is done through a set of pressure pads in a 10x10 grid that is set up in the waiting room at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. The game was built and specifically tailored towards a wide range of players of different age groups and different ranges of mobility.

It was made with a team of six people over four days.
